Ray Collins is an Australian photographer who started out taking pictures of his friends surfing. His photography progressed to capturing the movements of the ocean. Ray is colorblind but uses that to his advantage by focusing more on the shapes of the water and the light that interacts with the waves. His unique and moody photographs have been used by the likes of National Geographic, Apple, Patagonia and Nikon, to name of few, in their campaigns. The second edition of his book, Found at Sea, will be printing soon - I know I will be picking one up to display on my coffee table.
